Trampoline Glossary

Add-on Also known as tag, a trampoline game in which each player repeats skills of those who went ahead. The skills must go in correct order. A safety mat that is found at each end of the round trampoline for cushion impact for anyone who falls off.

An inflatable trampoline that can be used in pools or water parks. Also known as water trampolines.

A trampoline's metal parts. Galvanized pipe is the best.

Frame pad
An accessory that fits over the trampoline's springs for added protection.

Mini trampolines
Ideal for indoor use, they are much smaller than regular outdoor trampolines.

Rig
An overhead belt, ropes, pulleys, and fittings to allow remote support for a coach.

Safety platform
Also known as an end deck, the thick mat used to cushion the impact of a fallen trampoline user.

Spring tool
A galvanized steel device that helps ease the installation of trampoline springs.

Springs
The key component of a trampoline that allows users to soar higher. They are vital to keeping a trampoline in top working condition.

Synchronized
The act of two people jumping on a trampoline at the same time, doing identical moves at the same time.

Tag
A game in which players repeat the specific trampoline moves - in the correct order - of those who went before.

Protective material that is used to shield the harmful rays of the sun and keep rain, salt, and leaves away from the outdoor trampoline when it is not in use.
