Quick Tips for Selecting a Inflatable Water Trampoline

1. An inflatable water trampoline is a large floating donut about 10 to 25 feet in diameter. The outer inner tube supports a frame with springs and a trampoline mat in the center, which is suspended several feet above the water.

2. You may not achieve the same bounce height on your inflatable Rave water trampoline that you would with a traditional land version. The water and inflated tube will absorb some of the bounce. However, remember that falling off is the whole point of an inflatable water trampoline, not repeated high jumps.

3. Make your day at the lake even more fun by adding water trampoline accessories to your inflatable water trampoline. Dive towers, water slides, and stairs are all available. You can even launch yourself onto a separate landing platform rather that straight into the water.

4. You'll need an inflatable trampoline air pump to blow up the inner tube of your water trampoline. You can use an industrial trampoline pump or the air output side of a shop vacuum. Small inflatable water trampolines may take as little as 10 minutes to inflate, while the monster versions can take up to 2 hours.

5. You'll need to find an area of the lake at least 10 feet deep and at least 30 feet away from docks, boats, or other obstructions. Once your inflatable trampoline is in position, you can anchor it into place.

6. Anchoring methods will depend on water depth, type of water bottom, exposure to high winds, water current, and other factors. Expect to need a minimum of 60 pounds of anchor weight, which will keep your inflatable from floating away while still allowing it to move with the waves.

7. Water bouncers are smaller versions of water trampolines. They don't have frames or springs and can be inflated in as little as 10 minutes. Water Bouncers range in size from 9 to 13 feet and fold into a tidy package that can be stored in a boat or RV.
