1. Inflatable bounce houses
are designed for safety. Kids jump on a cushion of air contained by
soft walls with mesh panels that allow you to observe at all times.
However, getting in and out of the bouncer can be difficult, so have an
adult available at the entrance to assist.
2. Set up the inflatable slides
on a level surface with 5 feet of clearance on all sides. Remove all
twigs, rocks, toys, or animal droppings from the area. Also mark
power/water/gas lines, as the anchors used to install the inflatable
bouncer can be quite long.
3. Don't let kids of varying sizes jump at the same time, as this
can be dangerous. Instead, set up shifts for groups of younger and
older children. Don't forget to give the adults a turn!
4. Follow the rules and instructions provided with the interactive inflatable. Pay special attention to the weight limits so the interactive inflatable doesn't pop!
5. Most Blast Zone inflatable bouncers
use an airblower that continuously pumps air into the bouncer. You'll
hear the inflatable bouncer "breathing" as the air escapes through the
seams, which is perfectly normal. The air pump requires a power source
either from your home or from a generator.
6. For an extra infusion of fun, look for bounce houses with ball pits,
inflatable slides, obstacle courses, or climbing walls. Inflatable
water toys are even available to keep kids cool and busy during the hot
summer months.
7. Only people should be allowed into the
Kidwise bounce house.
No shoes, jewelry, keys, silly string, play items, food, or drinks.
These items can damage the inflatable or make conditions unsafe for
other inflatable bouncers.
